Hello everyone, I appreciate much the help on this.
Please advise what is causing for sample programs to work only when PiBot is powered and connected to the PC using USB cable. When powered with 9v Battery, the programs doesn't work and PiBot just stays idle although the Arduino control board green light is on. Advance thanks.

Hi Josh, This is a strange problem. I am assuming that you are trying to run the Motor Test program that you down loaded, with out any changes . Can you please check that you have wired your Pi-Bot as described in "Pi-Bot - Wiring and Programming Your Basic Pi-Bot.pdf " and the three 1.5 batteries and the 9V battery are fully charged, and the SYS PWR switch is in the 5V position. Do you have any test equipment available, if so what? One test you could try, is that when program is running whilst powered by the USB cable, try switching the motor power switch and check the the motors stop running.

Josh, You could also try running the blink program, Arduino IDE- File-Examples- Basics - Blink. It should flash the Red LED next to the Green PWR Led once a second. If this works with the USB Cable connected, try it with the USB Cable removed and the STEM Board powered by the 9V battery.

Thanks for the help John. As advised, I checked the wiring as illustrated in the "Pi-Bot - Wiring and Programming Your Basic Pi-Bot.pdf". I've missed to apply one of the GND connection Works now Best regards, Josh
