The 2017 Nobel Peace Prize was given to ICAN, who insisted on banning nuclear weapons. But is the weapons disappearing in the world now? There have been many Nobel Peace Prize awards, but have you ever had a true peace? No. So why do we have to go to war and build weapons? What do we get from war?
It’s poverty, death, suffering, the sacrifice of youth, separation from family. Everyone knows the horrors of war and it's happening now. Political leaders sacrifice young people for interests of their country and one religion slaughters other religions for the sake of its doctrines. Is it right? The purpose of the United Nations is to achieve peace. But has peace been achieved now? the U.N. Security Council has five countries. But when war broke out, did they try to stop war? Rather, they tried harder to sell their country’s weapons.
So how can peace come to the world? First, there should be a new international law that can achieve peace, not the current international law. Secondly, there should be no conflict in religion, which is 80 percent of the cause of the war. Third, citizens should become one and shout for peace to change the minds of their leaders. By the way, do you know that there's a place doing all this?
It's HWPL, a peace group. Over 700,000 citizens from 176 countries, including the PAP Pan-African Parliament, the Baltic Black Sea Council, former and incumbent presidents, Supreme Court Chief Justice, National Assembly Speaker and numerous religious leaders, are flocking to this group for peace.
HWPL has DPCW which is a new internation law to achieve true peace, World Alliance of Religions’Peace Office for harmony between religions, and IPYG and IWPG which can gather civil society into one!
These are not fanciful stories. It’s actually happening. If you see HWPL's peace tour, you can feel it. Starting with the first peace tour in 2012, HWPL has made 31 peace tours so far.
